I am Senior Lecturer in Marketing in the Department of Marketing, University of Strathclyde. Before joining academia, I held international marketing positions in the Iranian automotive industries for several years. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and Associate Editor of Iranian Journal of Management Studies. I sit on the editorial review board of Consumption, Markets & Culture and senior editorial advisory board of Journal of Islamic Marketing. I also sit on the editorial board of Journal of Marketing Management, Marketing Theory, Tourism Planning and Development, International Journal of Islamic Marketing and Branding and several other academic journals.
