    An attorney and executive, Allen Waxman serves as general counsel, senior vice president, and corporate secretary with Eisai, Inc., in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. His responsibilities include assisting the company in matters related to litigation, risk management, and government relations. Before accepting his present position, Allen Waxman served Kaye Scholer, LLP, a New York-based law firm, as partner in the Litigation Department and chair of the Life Sciences Group. In this leadership capacity, he coordinated the firm's provision of guidance on legal issues ranging from antitrust law to intellectual property for corporations in the life sciences. In terms of his nonprofit commitments, Allen Waxman currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Day One, a non-profit dedicated to fighting dating abuse. Mr. Waxman also sits on the New York Lawyers' Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League. Formerly, Allen Waxman was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter High School and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Equal Justice Works, an organization that inspires young lawyers to serve the public interest. When not working, Mr. Waxman enjoys traveling, having visited six of our seven continents, including extensive travel in Australia and New Zealand, a safari in South Africa and ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro as well as hiking with his children the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru.
