About

I specialize in antivirals with niche training in HIV, G-protein coupled receptors and drug mechanism of action. My experience and knowledge of clinical science in a medical writing capacity for CME and other work includes neuroendocrinology, diabetes and neurology. After my Ph.D. in Bio-Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, UK, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Colorado State University (drug delivery methods in diabetes and cancer) and Edinburgh University Medical School (stem cell therapies in bone cancer). In 2010 I moved to Karger, Medical and Scientific Publishers, as Editorial Manager for the peer-review journal Neuroendocrinology and have several years’ experience of academic editorial work.
