Amanda Izenstark is an Associate Professor and the Reference and Instructional Design Librarian at the University of Rhode Island. Izenstark received BAs in English and Psychology from University of Massachusetts, Boston and her MLIS from the University of Rhode Island. Izenstark has chapters in Teaching Information Literacy: 50 Practical, Standards-Based Exercises for College Students (ALA, 2010) and the Library Instruction Cookbook (ACRL, 2009), among numerous other articles, published conference papers, and invited talks.
