About

When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. Everyone said I totally could and I would be awesome at it. Alas, no one told me about organic chemistry. So, I took my biology degree and worked in a lab for a few years. When that job began to suck so much I could no longer stand it, I found the motivation to go to grad school. Now I'm going to be a librarian, because the profession encompasses all of my favorite things: working with people, doing research, helping others with their research, smelling books old and new, fixing stubborn computers, and NOT doing organic chemistry equations.
