PhD Candidate and Associate Instructor in the Literacy, Culture and Language Education Department at Indiana University. Teaches graduate and undergraduate teacher education courses on topics in multiliteracies and language pedagogy. Serves as a coordinator for the Peace Corps/EFL&ESL Masters International Program at Indiana University. Previously taught EFL and ESL in workplace and K-12 settings in the US, South Korea, and Thailand. Research interests include teacher education, the intersection of education policy and classroom practice, and qualitative research methodologies (particularly discourse analysis and discursive psychology). Currently, my research focuses on pre-/in-service language teacher education, especially in hybrid/online contexts.
