About

Amin is a PhD candidate at University of New South Wales (UNSW). He received his Master of Engineering degree from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2013 and his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2008. He has conducted a comprehensive experimental research on mechanical, structural and dynamic characteristics of Polyvinyl Alcohol Fibre Reinforced Concrete (PVA-FRC) during his master degree studies. He is currently investigating the durability performance of a novel concrete called Geopolymer Concrete. Amin has also worked professionally for more than 5 years in civil and railway​ engineering​ companies in several fields such as; pre-stressed concrete industry, ready-mixed concrete manufacturing and railway/building constructions. He has also been working as a research and laboratory assistant in concrete and structures laboratories at UTS since 2011.
