About

I am a senior Research Fellow at the National Psychiatric Institute, México. I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. My substantial research interests lie at the intersection of basic sleep mechanisms, mime facial muscle activity during REM sleep and its relation to rapid eye movements in patients with major depressive disorder. I have been teaching basic sleep mechanisms on the undergraduate level at the National School of Anthropology.
