I am a telecom engineer. I received my bachelor’s degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and my Master of Science from Politecnico di Torino in Italy. I developed my Master’s thesis in the mathematics department at San Diego State University in California. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at Universitat Politècnica de València where I am working on Glaucoma diagnosis using Color Fundus Images (CFIs). My research interests are in the areas of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Mathematical Morphology and Texture Analysis.
