Whilst living in rural Mozambique, my position as a freelance scientist enables me to work on a number of research and education projects. I am leading three publications continuing the research of my PhD on circadian rhythms in environments with little or no rhythmicity. I am also organising a scientific writing and communication training course for African scientists with TReND in Africa. Meanwhile I act as an Academic Mentor for AuthorAID, working with researchers from developing countries on aspects of their scientific writing. I am interested in sustainable development through scientific innovation, supporting the nascent scientific communities in developing nations.
