I am interested in studying the causes for triggered star formation in ultraviolet (actively star-forming) galaxies. I have studied environments, star formation history and ionized gas kinematics in a sample of extreme star-forming galaxies known as Ultraviolet Luminous Galaxies. These galaxies are identical in all observable properties to Lyman Break Galaxies, an interesting and important population of galaxies for studying galaxy formation and evolution. Now I am working with SWIFT UVOT data on various projects. I am also interested in Lyman Alpha Blobs.
