About

Anthony is a PhD student in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the MIT School of Architecture + Planning where is researching the intersection of digital technologies and built urban form as well as the concept of the sentient city. He is currently a researcher at the MIT Senseable City Lab. Anthony previously received a Master of Science from MIT, and a Master of Architecture from Tulane University, with an additional concentration in political science. His design work has been exhibited, including at the 2006 Venice Architectural Biennale. Anthony is active the the architectural profession, serving as a current director of the National Architectural Accrediting Board. He previously served as the Vice President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and also as the Student Director on the Board of the Association of Collegiate School of Architecture in 2007-2008. He has also served on committees and boards for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He previously served as co-president and a board member of the Ann Arbor-based Youth Empowerment Project, making him one of the youngest people to serve in such a capacity in a non-profit organization in the country.
