About

I have studied and collaborated in different universities in my academic career. Since my Bachelor's studies I have experienced interdisciplinary environments. Studying Aeronautics in the Moscow Aviation Institue in Russia for the summer of 2006, made me open my eyes for new possibilities. I have worked twice in the US for a Summer Camp (2007 & 2008) as a Robotics Teacher, Counsellor & Lifeguard, where I met people from all over the world. Continuing my Bachelor's studies, I became part of the Student Council for my studies track; with the experience I gain joining the council, I tested my self and became the President of the student council SAIMT. I have always liked technology, and during the last year and a half of my Bachelor's studies, I discovered my attraction to Research & Development. I applied for a scholarship and won the Discovery Scholarship Award and Fellowship Award from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology "KAUST" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At KAUST I completed my Master degree in Mechanical Engineering in December 2010. Currently I am a PhD Student in the Electrical Engineering Department at KAUST. I am the Lab Safety Representative for my Research Group Laboratory (Electromechanical Microsystems & Polymer Integration Research "EMPIRe"), and I support Lab's website. I am a member of the IEEE and the webmaster for the IEEE Chapter at KAUST. I am interested in micro-fabrication and its implementation in the out space environment.
