About

I am a PhD candidate based at the Institute of Metabolism and Systems Research (IMSR), University of Birmingham. My research project is funded by the Tommy's National Centre for Miscarriage Research and aims to unravel role of sperm DNA in early miscarriage. Before joining the UoB I worked as a Laboratory Andrology Practitioner at the Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Laboratory of UCLH and as a Lecturer of Animal Care at Capel Manor College. I hold an MSc in Equine Science from Aberystwyth University of Wales and a Degree in Animal Production Science from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2014 I am a Registered Animal Scientist (Associate) awarded by The Royal Society of Biology while since 2015 I hold a certificate on Basic Semen Analysis form ESHRE -SIGA. I am a member of ESHRE, ABA, BAS, BFS, BSAS and EAAP.
