Professional Experience and Significant Achievements
My career in the Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention field in the State of Oregon has spanned 23 years beginning in March 1985. My experience has included work with adults, adolescents and their families in private practice, schools and public agencies.
My areas of expertise include substance abuse treatment program development, management and clinical supervision. I have written local and federal grants, developed program policies and procedures specific to substance abuse treatment and prevention programs.
After having spent most of my career working for private and public programs, I have ventured out to open my own substance abuse treatment practice. In September of 2005, I created Lakeview Center for Change LLC and remain the owner/director and clinical supervisor of a staff of 4. As a State of Oregon approved provider of Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment, we provide a variety of treatment services for individuals with substance abuse disorders that include but not limited to counseling for personal, social and family issues.
When not working, I find solace and rejuvenation living and working on my small ranch in the “high desert” of Oregon.
