I was born in Norwich, England, and lived in the city of Hull until moving to New Jersey in 2001. I attended The Pennsylvania State University, where I obtained my Bachelor's of Science with Honors in Chemical Engineering, with minors in Chemistry and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Chemical Engineering at MIT, working in Dr. Greg Stephanopoulos' Metabolic Engineering Lab.
