Dr. Benjamin Wiseman is a pain management consultant who retired from private practice in 2010. His retirement reflected a need to take over a large agricultural and ranching operation family estate following his father’s passing. In addition to handling the family trust, Dr. Benjamin Wiseman has cared for his incapacitated mother over the past several years.
Dr. Wiseman practiced for more than a decade with Hillcrest Hospital Neurosurgical and Pain Anesthesia, as well as Mid-Tex Anesthesiology Associates - Providence Hospital Anesthesia in Waco, Texas. He subsequently practiced for several years with the North Mississippi Medical Center - Pain Management Center and Tupelo Anesthesia Group Pain Services. Widely recognized in his field, Dr. Wiseman has held associate professor appointments at both the Texas A&M Medical School and the University of Texas Medical Science Center in Houston (UTMSH). Working closely with anesthesiology departments, Dr. Benjamin Wiseman’s instruction to anesthesiology residents focused on highly technical procedures, such as the surgical placement of morphine pumps and spinal cord stimulators.
