---------------- Bidur Prasad Chaulagain,PhD (Biprach) is by training and experiences a biological scientist, researcher and teacher. Biprach did his MSc in Botany from Nepal and PhD in Laboratory Medicine with works in molecular microbiology and epidemiology from chosun University, South Korea. After that he has worked as postdoctoral researcher and research professor in different universities in Korea and Denmark. Biprach is the Co-Founder and working as Director of Research and Traing and as a faculty member of Himalayan College of Agricultural sciences and Technology (HICAST), Nepal. He has produced dozens of peer reviewed research papers, popular science articles and also working as editor of science related journals. Biprach publishes his short poems like Zen poetry and Haikus in online portals like Facebook and Allpoetry ( He uses science fact, figures and beauty in his poetry whenever they are possible to express. Research fields, interests and expertise of Bidur Prasad Chaulagain (Biprach): Research works, expertise and interests are within plant biology, genetics and molecular biology, microbiology and epidemiology of infectious diseases, synthetic biology, biotechnology for medicinal botany, application of metabolic engineering for applied and basic research, biological system engineering for microbial growth properties, identification and characterization of novel compounds in plant and bacterial enzymes, antibiotics resistance by bacteria and genotyping in molecular studies, miRNA biogenesis and light signaling in plants.
