Birgy Lorenz PhD is a Scientist at Tallinn University of Technology. Current project Cyber Olympic - find young cyber security talents, raise awareness in cyber security filed. She has finished Tallinn University, Estonia (syllabus INFORMATION SOCIETY TECHNOLOGIES. Thesis: A Model to Evaluate Digital Safety Concerns in School Environment). She is also eSafety trainer in Estonia in a program Safer Internet in Estonia EE SIC. Her activities include being part of developing National Curricula ICT syllabus, writing articles about e-safety, project management in TurvaLan project what has been awarded by: Microsoft (2009): Innovative Teacher Award and European Schoolnet (2010): 1st eLearning Award, in ‘Internet Safety’ category. Teacher of the year in Estonia (2011); nominent of educational project of the year 2017 Estonia.
