Brigette Cohen is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Natural History Collections of Iziko Museums, South Africa in Cape Town. She currently works on vertebrate remains from the Mio-Pliocene locality Langebaanweg on the South African West Coast. Brigette also works on small carnivore (mongoos) fossils and conducts experimental archaeology studies
