Studies historical patterns of racial and ethnic segregation and socioeconomic disparity in urban areas using quantitative methods of conventional and spatial statistics, and geographic information science (GIS). Utilizes multivariate regression and spatial auto regressive techniques to analyze urban patterns of economic and environmental disparity. Analysis of financial services locational patterns, investment, and capital flows. Comparative analysis of markets and investment to ascertain banking compliance/noncompliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
