About

Bruno Gonçalves completed his joint PhD in Physics MSc in C.S. at "Emory University" in Atlanta, GA in 2008 following which he joined the "Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research at Indiana University as a post-doctoral research associate. His research activity focuses on using computational, visualization and data analysis methods for the study of Complex Systems in multidisciplinary contexts and has resulted in over 25 publications in Physics, Life Sciences, and Computer Science journals. Current projects include detailed epidemic modeling in structured populations; information and viral diffusion on large networks; and the study of mobility and diffusion through the analysis of proxy social network dynamics.
