About

I am an educator. I am currently the Coordinator for Community Standards at Carnegie Mellon University. In this job I oversee the campus conduct process, supervise RAs, meet with students, and respond to emergencies. It is different everyday and a lot of fun. I am also a doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program at George Washington University. My research interests are in the areas of student development, online social networks, and legal issues in higher education. I have been married for nearly 5 years to the lovely and talented Jessica Koval. In my spare time I like to cook, watch sports (Penn State and Pittsburgh teams are my favorites), and stay up-to-date with the latest gadgets and tech trends.
