About

I have a background in biology, where I specialised in animal behaviour with a focus on primates. As a result I have conducted extensive fieldwork over the last 10 years. I am interested in animal social learning and behavioural traditions in neo-tropical primates. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology from São Paulo University, Brazil. As part of my PhD training I spent a year as a visiting research fellow (FAPESP) at Durham University, UK. My current research is concerned with identifying social transmission of novel behaviour patterns in wild capuchin monkeys (Sapajus libidinosus) by applying social network analysis methodology.
