Carlos Abrahams is a consultant ecologist and wetland specialist based in Derbyshire, England. He has been interested in the subject of water levels and ecology since around 1996, when he was working as a conservation manager on reservoirs in the Midlands during a couple of drought years. Since then he has undertaken postgraduate research on drawdown zones and has published on the issues relating to their biodiversity, the potential impacts of climate change and approaches to management.
