I am a researcher in solid state physics, particularly in the field of semiconductor nanostructures such as photonic crystals, quantum dots and microcavities.
In october 2011, I started my studies as a FPU-PhD student in the group of Professor Luis Viña (SEMICuam), in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Some of my laboratory skills are the next ones:
Optical spectroscopic techniques: time–integrated, time–resolved, time–correlated photoluminescence, high spectral resolution spectroscopy- time correlated single photon counting technique.
Experience in using: pulsed and continuous wave lases-detection systems (Photodiodes, Photomultipliers, Streak Camera, CCDs), cryogenics and vacuum techniques (He-Bath Cryostats). Training undergraduate physics students.
