About

Carlos Macías graduated with a BSc in Physics from UDLAP (Universidad de las Américas Puebla) in 2005. Back then he was working under the supervision of Prof. Jorge Ojeda-Castañeda generating birrefringent holographic optical elements. Inmediately after he started a PhD in multiplexed optical data storage supervised by Prof. Peter Török in Imperial College. During the PhD they built a polarisation sensitive confocal microscope capable of imaging in 3D the Mueller matrix of an object placed in a high numerical aperture space.
