Carrie Beth Peterson received her PhD in Electronic Systems at Aalborg University. Her area of focus is on Quality of Life issues for the elderly in regards to technology, stemming from previous work in Gerontology, particularly dementia care. She received a double BA in Psychology and Human Services from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2003 and MSc in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas in 2004. Other research interests include Network Security, Ethics and Technology, Evaluation of Healthcare Systems, Gerontechnology, and Cognitive and Social Psychology.
