Carter Boyce, a recent college graduate, secured his bachelor of arts in economics and a minor in political science from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Over his time there, he completed such courses as applied econometrics, analytical geometry, and the economics effects of EU membership. Further, Carter Boyce studied abroad at the Institute for the International Education of Students in Barcelona, Spain. While there, he interviewed professionals and everyday citizens about Spain's economic problems and presented his findings to his peers. As an overseas student, he developed fluency in Spanish.
Beyond his classroom experience, Carter Boyce honed his business skills as a marketing and sales intern with TRX, a fitness equipment company based in San Francisco. During a summer, he helped the company by maintaining its inventory, constructing information databases, and working closely with marketing professionals on Internet advertising projects.
In his private life, Mr. Boyce stays active through outdoor pursuits like golf and water skiing. He also enjoys following professional sports teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers.
