About

I hold a MA in Language Psychology from University of Copenhagen. For the past 12 years I have worked as a second language high school teacher in Spanish and Visual Art and mentored students with special needs such as Aspergers. I'm interested in language disorders and have taken an interet in aquired brain damage. My mother has suffered two stokes of apoplexia. My interest is directed towards the life world of persons with cognitive and physical challenges. I seek to venture into developing an integrational practice perspective and hereby examine a range of interactional situations from a new angle. Also, the discursive framing of language disorders in talk and interaction has priority in my observational thinking about language disorders. I hope to contribute to developing a participants' perspective, which allow a closer investigation of understandings as they happen - a methodological insight which hopefully may be of use for persons with language disorders and peers; society, researchers, family and practicioners involved in rebilitation and training.
