About

Chase Nordengren is a research scientist with NWEA, where he studies how NWEA can help teachers and administrators use assessments to drive student learning. His work includes validation of the instructional uses of the MAP suite, efficacy studies on our professional learning programs and other services, and exploration of additional instructional uses and constructs for current and future assessments. His past research has addressed, among other topics, the social networks of teacher leaders, principal preparation, and mixed methods validation procedures. He received a PhD in Leadership, Policy and Organizations in K-12 Systems at the University of Washington in 2015.
