About

I am currently working on several projects focused on characterization of composite interfaces in polymer systems. The materials that have captured my interest at the moment are cellulose nanocrystals and silk fibers. We are working to install various fluorophores at the interface between these biomaterials and their respective polymer matrices in an attempt to "illuminate" interfacial debonding mechanisms.
