I am interested in developing and applying novel experimental and mathematical approaches to address important problems in the entire spectrum of human biology: from cell biology to physiology and therapeutics. I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India (2001) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara (2006).
Since graduating from UCSB, I have worked with neural stem cells at LBNL and with large-scale mathematical models of cardiovascular diseases at Entelos. Currently, I am developing statistical and mechanistic models of other diseases for informing personalized healthcare at Theranos.
My other interests include cooking, history and comics.
