About

I achieved a Psychology BSc (Hons) at the University of York followed by an Occupational Psychology MSc at the Institute of Work, Health and Organisations at the University of Nottingham. Following graduation in 2007, I worked at The Open University as a Project Officer within Human Resources Development, where I was involved in staff development and ongoing evaluation of HR-related strategy. As of September 2010, I am a PhD candidate at the Horizon Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Nottingham. I am also co-founder and Managing Partner of the business consultancy company, Quantum Frog Ltd. My interest in the Digital Economy stems from research I have conducted using virtual worlds to support staff development in Higher Education institutions. With an academic background in Organisational Behaviour, I’m particularly interested in the impact of technology upon organisations and their employees. In particular, I am interested in the impact that social media policies have on the ways in which employees manage their digital self and social identities.
