Chris Freeland is an Associate University Librarian, Washington University Libraries at Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Freeland is the Founding Director of the Center for Biodiversity Informatics at the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Founding Technical Director of the Biodiversity Heritage Library. Mr. Freeland has an M.S. in Biological Sciences from Eastern Illinois University and has worked as a technologist in scientific organizations and libraries for more than 15 years.
