Christophe Rapine is full professor at Université de Lorraine, France, since September 2011, in the Industrial Engineering department. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science at Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble in 1999. He received his HDR in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Université de Grenoble in December 2010. He was assistant professor at Grenoble INP between 1999-2010 and member of G-SCOP Laboratory. He spent one sabbatical year at Bilkent University, Ankara in 2010-2011. His research interests include scheduling, lot sizing, multi-echelon inventory management and air traffic management. He uses Operations Research and Combinatorial Optimization tools and methods to propose exact or approximate polynomial time algorithms with proven performance guarantees. He authored more than 30 peer reviewed articles and (co-)supervised 8 PhD Thesis.
