Claire Mahon is an international human rights lawyer based in Geneva, Switzerland, where she is a Research Fellow at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, and joint Coordinator of the Project on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. She is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and coordinates the University of Michigan Law School's Geneva International Fellows Program. She is a former Special Advisor to Mary Robinson (the former Chair of the Global Alliance on Vaccines and Immunisations, President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights), and former legal advisor to the former UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, Jean Ziegler.
