A Vancouver Washington based consultant and Transitional Teacher, Clayton Mathewson provides a high standard of personal consultant services to clients seeking guidance concerning major life changes related to loss, divorce, and other important matters. Besides his commitment to his consultancy, he is an active author, having written several books, including Relationships with Impossible Partners and Fathers Raising Amazing Daughters. In preparation for his career, Clayton Mathewson studied at the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California, where he earned his doctorate in clinical psychology. While a graduate student, he focused especially on depth psychology and mythology. Complementing the above, Clayton Mathewson gives back to his local community by supporting nonprofit organizations such as Homeless Courage for Employment and Good Will Industries. Further, he participated in the Run for Kyron, a charitable racing event. He ran a 10k and finished first place in his peer group. He has also completed 15 marathons, qualified for Boston Marathon twice and completed two ultra marathons. In his private life, Mr. Mathewson enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. For entertainment, he enjoys fly-fishing and playing the guitar.
