About

I am researching the social effects of concussions in sports. I want to know the implications of concussions on the future of sports and the attitudes toward contact sports by athletes, parents, fans, and organizations. Eventually I would like to understand and discuss the solutions to the concerns and reactions these stakeholders have. Questions I want to explore... What influence does concussion media have on sport stakeholders? Are concussion prone sports seeing a registration decline due to concussion fear? Why is it okay to watch other peoples children play football, but not our own? How can we change the culture of sports that perpetuates under reporting of concussions?
