Cristina Garzón is a professor at the Faculty of Sciences at the National University of Colombia and conducts research in sciences and ethnosciences, from biology and geosciences, with emphasis on multi-criteria evaluation and the potential use of flora, geomaterials and geoenvironments. Current projects: 'Multicriteria evaluation of Colombian flora', 'Natural history of water, from science and traditional knowledge', 'Atlas of medical geology' and 'Multicriteria evaluation of geological and paleontological heritage in Colombia'.
