I received my BSc in Multimedia Computer Science (2010), MSc in Engineering and Computer Science (2012) and a PhD in Computer Science (2016) at the University of Verona (IT) under the supervision of Marco Cristani, in collaboration with Alessandro Vinciarelli, Mirco Musolesi and Alessandro Perina. I worked as intern at Disney Research Pittsburgh (PA) under the supervision of Maarten Bos. Now I am a postdoc at Caltech (CA) under the supervision of Pietro Perona. My research interests mainly focus on Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image/Video Processing, Computational Aesthetics, Social Signal Processing, Affective Computing, Social Media Analysis, Nonverbal Behavior Analysis, Biometrics, Behavioral Science, Psychology and Computational Ethology.
