About

Cynthia C. Biro (Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians) graduated from the University of Michigan in 2007 with a BA in American Culture and Native American studies. Cynthia has been actively engaged in Native American youth advocacy work—which includes the National Congress of American Indians Youth Commission and co-founding the Cleveland American Indian Youth Council. In May 2011, Cynthia will obtain her Master of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Cleveland State University where she worked at the Center for Nonprofit Policy & Practice as a Graduate Research Assistant. Her graduate thesis focuses on urban Indian community building, youth outreach and advocacy.
