I am a metadata specialist and oral historian. Currently, I am working on the Welfare Rights Initiative Digital Oral History Project, which is documenting the Welfare Rights Initiative (WRI), a grassroots student activist and community leadership training organization located at Hunter College. My current research interests include digitization/new media, metadata standards and their evolving role in the Semantic Web environment, memory studies, performing arts, digital humanities, oral history and storytelling.
