My University of Illinois thesis was on parsing with Unification grammar. After finishing, I came to Tübingen and continued to work on unification grammar, only then it had become "constraint-based grammar' with typed feature structures. I worked on the predecessor of the Trale system, which is still used today. But I also branched out to finite state methods, where among other things, I wrote with Gertjan van Noord an influential paper on finnite-state Optimality theory. In recent years, I've branched out even more to Suffix Arrays, Bulgarian (which I'm not very good at) and (somewhat off-topic) Fibonacci numbers. I've made "public collections" for each of these, and i've included a README in each list to at least partially explain my choices.
