Received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil in 2005. He received an M.Sc. and a PhD. degree in Power Systems from São Carlos Engineering School, University of São Paulo, Brazil in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Nowadays, he is a Professor at the Salvador University, Salvador, BA, Brazil. His main research interests are power system control and protection, frequency estimation, transformer protection and power quality.
