Dr. Daniel Meira-Freitas received his medical degree from Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He completed his ophthalmology residency including a chief medical resident year, glaucoma fellowship and Ph.D. at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He is currently a post doctoral research fellow at University of California San Diego (UCSD).
