Daniel Mirea is a consultant psychotherapist and lecturer who trained in all three waves of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion Therapy and ACT) and with a genuine additional interest in the 'Existential' school of thought; he has a career longer than 20 years in the mental health field. He is an accredited practitioner by both BABCP and UKCP, and a fellow alumni of King’s College. He continues to run a successful a private practice and used to manage a counselling & psychotherapy service for younger adults with a history of trauma for 8 years; he is an experienced supervisor of multi-disciplinary therapists as well as course manager at Regents College and NSPC. He has a particular interest in childhood trauma and long standing characterological problems (such as a deep sense of shame, guilt or failure).
