Daniel Prá earned PhD degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, with doctoral internship in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Fenech at the Commonwealth Scientific Research Organization (CSIRO) Food & Nutrition Sciences (Adelaide, Australia). Dr. Pra produced 41 full papers in journals (3 in press) and 5 book chapters. Dr Pra has H Factor equals 7. He received 10 + awards and / or honors. He mentored 30 + undergraduate, and graduate students (4 Master). He Is currently mentoring 7 Master students. He participated in 20 + degree exams (7 Master and 1 PhD examinations). He was member of the Ethics Committee of the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPEL), Brazil. He serves as reviewer for 20+ journals. He serves as guest editor of the journal BioMed Research International. He has experience in genetics, with an emphasis on mutagenesis and nutrigenomics. He also researches in the nutritional analysis of populations and preventive medicine.
