I come from a youth work background having completed a BA Hons in Youth and Community Work at undergraduate level. Since i have worked for various public, private and charitable organisations with a youth focus, specifically disadvantaged young people. These include Connexions, Manchester Youth Service and Manchester Metropolitan University as well as intern-ships in Hungary (4 months) and Chicago, USA (7 months). I have also carried out a number of community audits / participatory research on a freelance bases for organisations such as New Deal for Communities and the Youth Service. More recently i have studied International Development Policy and Management at Masters level at Manchester University and am now working towards my Phd in Education.
