Daqiang Yuan received his B.S. (1999) and M.S. (2002) from Beijing Normal University, and his Ph.D. (2006) in Physical Chemistry from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Professor Maochun Hong. Since then, he has been working as a Research Assistant in Prof. Maochun Hong’s group. He joined Professor Hong-Cai Zhou’s group as a Postdoctoral Associate (2007 to 2011). Since 2011 September, he join the faculty of Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter. His research interests include the rational design and synthesis of porous materials and their application in gas storage.
